It is with great sadness we report the death of Pat Morrison on Friday 29th May after a long and courageous fight with secondary cancer.
Pat cofounded our group some 22 years ago and was Chair for 19 years. She fought tirelessly for cancer patients in our area and beyond, representing our issues at local, regional and national level. She was a dear friend to many of us and hugely respected by all who had the privilege of meeting her.
Pat was also Chair of ICCAG (Improving Cancer Care Action Group) and worked to ensure that the voices of patients and carers are heard by those designing and delivering cancer services at the NHS Ashford and St Peters Hospital Trust.
She was an inspiration to so many people and will be greatly missed.
